Once you take your last bcp you are instructed to call once you have a full flow. I was worried that I'd have to wait a while before moving on to the next step but my body proved me wrong by presenting me with a period this morning. I was surprised how quickly it came so I called my clinic to let them know what was going on.
I give these nurses SO much credit for dealing with all of us crazy, hormonal women day in and day out. I called, panicked because I thought that it was weird that I got my period so quickly. She said it was fine. I'm going in tomorrow for my first ultrasound and labwork of my IVF cycle. Woah, sh*t is getting real.
I made a spreadsheet to get us through our IVF cycle and have a column for "word of the day." Today's word is: abundant.
